I've been a little too busy to create

I hate when life gets like this. Busy busy busy. So today I'm working in my scrapbook room in a different way. I stripped it, so nothing is on the floor and now I'm cleaning the carpet. Sadly having a younger dog in the house and a older dog who was formerly abused. We still have accidents in the house and my scrapbook room has been the target of said accidents, so I borrowed a steam cleaner from my boyfriend and that is my focus for the day. Cleaning the scrapbook room rug. I can't wait to go in there without stepping in a puddle. Oh I also bought a baby gate so no more unattended dogs allowed in there. Only my cats it gives them a place to hangout without the threat of attack of Penny (our 1 year old beagel puppy). They enjoy sleeping in the window or in the middle of my creative mess on the table. A very special gift

I'm proud to complete this. It is a special gift that I'm going to send to my grandparents in NC that I haven't seen in over 15 years. I just got back in touch with them a week ago and I thought this would be the perfect little gift that I could send so they can enjoy. It was all done with Basic Grey Papers, and the album is about 3 1/4x 3 1/2 very small but perfect to mail. It is from Close to My Heart. Pin It Now!

Okay Tabitha is complaining she wants to see something new. So here it is... My little fat book page I'm not sure if I would call it finished but who knows what I think it needs. This was done as an inspiration for my newest swap on our Artist Trading Card Group. All the stuff that was used was from Grapic 45 a beautiful paper company found at a local stamp store Stampassion. I don't get there often, but when I do I normal get stamps, but this time I was so struck by this paper I just had to get it. Of course I glamed it up with some stickles and some real vintage ribbon I got from my friend Berta. Now I'm just looking at it thinking is there anything else it needs?? Well I was supposed to go to a party this weekend but the woman that was hosting had her bathroom flood her dining room, so Tabitha and her sister Elise came over to play!! We got a lot done which was awesome. I finished my Vintage Children Swap and then after they left I was inspired to create my Alice in Wonderland Cards!!! I'm so inspired and love my Queen of Hearts card, so I think I may be making myself one similar to keep in my collection of cards. Other then that I organized my old photos and I'm trying to work on a layout about my aunt, but I'm not sure where to go with it yet. Enjoy my newest cards. A little bit of a dry spell

I created some cards earlier this week when my bestie came over, but haven't had a chance to take pictures other then that I have had a bit of a dry spell. I have most of the ATCs done for the next month or so. I have couple of loose ends to tie up there, but other then that nothing. Between my sinuses actting up (headaches) and helping my dad out with work. I haven't felt up to doing anything. Although I have a new interest in doing some scrapbooking my childhood photos between getting a box to go through and scan from my grandmother and possible soon getting some pictures from a long lost family member I reconnected with. I'm interested in exploring my past. I sometimes find journaling those photos difficult because I don't remember much. I kind of forced a lot of my childhood memories out due to some events that happened and my mom's memory isn't much better. So scrapbooking them got frustrating in after awhile, but now I think its time to travel back and remember the good times and the ones that I love and some of which are no longer with us sadly. Well I'm off. I have to vaccum one more room before taking a trip into the scrapbook room. Pin It Now!
