More Swaps complete

I was really inspired this month by various swaps so I'm all over the place. I am a big fan of Edgar Allen Poe and the poem "The Raven" so my bird swap was inspired by the poem for the most part. My music Swap is very differnt compared to my other ATCs, but I think is really a reflection of music in my life. I have even been told the girl looks like me. My dad get mad at me because I've always got my headphones on. I have never owned pair quite like the ones pictured but they work. And last but not least are my coffee cards. I love how they came out. I used a stamp set from Block Head which used to be local but recently moved. They have some really cool rubber stamps on cling sheets so they work with your clear blocks. The other stamps I used were but inkadoo. I used Tim Holtz distress hammer, distress ink, amoung other things.

Altered Chipboard houses

Well I'm always looking for something new and different to play with. My best Friend and tree killer in crime suggested that our ATC group do altered houses. So we are doing a total of 5 of them. And the first one was our current home. These are really fun and come out really cute. So the first one isn't due till the end of the month. So I got it done pretty early and then the second is our favorite place. My favorite place came to me pretty quicky so I started it yesterday and finished today. I just need to make a door handle and it will be finished. Pin It Now!

Anything Goes Swap

You would like a theme such as Anything Goes would be freeing, but to be honest it just wasn't this time. I sat up till about 12pm last night creating this one. I'm proud of the outcome, but it was a lot of thinking and playing to create it. I tried something different cutting my main focal point out as a circle normally I cut around the person. I love the Tim Holtz Cherish charm and I always love being able to use my scrap paper. Pin It Now!

Signature Cards

My dearest and best friend Tabitha suggested a signature swap and I am game for just about anything, but not exactly inspired by the concept, but today she posted hers and I was inspired. So here are my two signature cards. I might do more, but not sure. Pin It Now!

Inspired

Well I'm inspired. I created this piece for a ATC swap at my local stamp store. The theme is music. So I was going to do dancers and use the tim holtz dance step background stamp. I tried playing with it and didn't like how is was coming out so I went to my trusty computer and to google images and searched "girl with headphones" and found this girl. Of course I'm not going to settle so I kept looking but kept thinking about her. So I went back. I printed off 6 of her and then took out my trusty sharpies and started coloring. I'm loving how they are coming out so much that I decided to create a framed piece using 9 of them for myself. and three for trade. The girls are all colored. There lips have a crackle finish on them backgrounds are cut. Now I just have to cut the rest of the girls out and pop them on a piece of cardstock to match their lips. Tomorrow I will hopefully have them finished. Pin It Now!

No pictures Part 2

Okay today I did do something, but I can't share a picture cause it is for a special trade. It was blocking me for almost 2 weeks. I started it and stared at for the longest time unfinished and today it came together. I'm glad it is done. I'm proud of it. I still have a bunch of trades to get together and hopefully tomorrow I will be able to get some of them done. Pin It Now!

Again no pictures

Well today wasn't much of a creation day. I cleaned and played today. I went to a stamp store after visiting my great grandmother in the hospital and bought a set of tim's holtz's new stamp sets (ATC backgroud sized ones). I played with them for awhile. Not really creating anything. I thought it would create something for up coming swaps, but not really. I cleaned my scrapbook room to make a mess again and tomorrow morning I will probably clean it again. I have quite a few swaps that I want to do stuff for but I'm having a problem. Oh well I'm sure something will come out of my head and hands. So I wrote 3-4 pages in my journal so that was something I guess. Oh well I'm off to bed. Maybe tomorrow will produce some pictures.
