I'm a full time college student from upstate NY studying Childhood education. I'm 23 years old live with my parents (until after I graduate and get a full time position).
I am not new to blogging, but I am new to the concept of using a blog to discuss my love of scrapbooking. I have been scrapbooking for about 4 years before I found it I was an artist looking for an art form. I tried clay, wood, paint, drawing, cross stitch, quilting, the list goes on and on. I don't really remember who or what officially turned me on to it, but as soon as I started I was hooked. I even remember walking into my LSS for the first time and thinking I belong here. I started slow and then I began looking at magazines and started teaching myself new techniques. I have only taken one class on scrapbooking and one class on card making and neither taught me what I have learned today. After going to a few crops at the LSS I began working there and sadly just a few weeks ago I helped pack it up!! That was one of the saddest days for me because I feel like I lost a part of myself. I'm keeping in touch with many of the amazing people that I met there and I beginning to make some new friends with people at another LSS that is near by. I hope that this blog will be a way for me to discuss my love of scrapbooking with my peers, show off my pages and meet more new people!!!
